In the Scooter collection “Kornhaeusl Roland” you find around 120 scooters and micro cars, mainly from the 50s and 60s of the 20^th century. It was the time after the cleanup of the chaos the World War II caused all around. With these vehicles the people all over Europe got back their flexibility to go around and many were able to enjoy their life in a way it wasn’t possible before.

You just took your scooter or micro car, take your family and luggage on it and off you went – to the shore of the Mediterranean Sea in Italy, to Germany, France or even to Morocco or India. And many of them are part of this collection.

So you are able to see the most common Austrian ones as Puch or Lohner scooters as well as local, national and international exotic scooters from Russia, Hungaria, East-Germany, CSSR and vehicles from Italy, France, Sweden and Great Britain. Even the famous Goggomobil Coupe and the standard one you will find next to other legendary eye catchers.

After years and years of “hunting and collecting” the scooter collection “Roland Kornhaeusl” can call itself as “the collection” that covers most different items from this area of motorization in the whole of the Austrian country and is able to give interested people a good feeling about the technical standards, the variety and the individual solutions at this time.
